Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions contain the entire agreement between you and Sparrow & Finch Limited, relating to your purchase. You are responsible for reading all the information contained.

General

The Following Terms & Conditions endeavor to make our web site a safe and easy place to shop.

Exceptional Customer Service along with, your privacy, confidentiality and security are important to Sparrow & Finch Limited.

By using our web site you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Content & Photography

Every effort is made to ensure that all the information provided on the Sparrow & Finch web site is correct at the time of publishing.
Whilst we use reasonable efforts to include accurate and up-to-date information on the site we make no warranties or representations as to its accuracy. We assume no responsibility for any errors or omissions in the content on the site. Information about Sparrow & Finch products and services are illustrative only.

Sparrow & Finch reserve the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services.

The information provided for each product or collection of products is accurate at the time we published the information. However, while the colour reproduction is a close representation, a slight variation in the actual goods may occur.

All sizes are approximate. If accurate measurements are essential, then please contact us. We will not be liable of the cost of returning items that are not the right size for your purposes if you have not checked with us beforehand.

Sale

Once you have completed your order, you offer to buy the goods at the prices indicated including any delivery charges that apply to your purchase.

If your order is accepted, a confirmation will be sent to the email or postal address you provided when placing your order.

Your order will be accepted as soon as we have confirmed your order. Our acceptance of your order is conditional on the availability of the products you have ordered. If any of the products you have ordered are unavailable, or should events occur beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to cancel your order without liability. In such circumstances we shall let you know as soon as possible.

No order is binding on you or Sparrow & Finch until we have accepted it. You will own the items we supply you from the moment they are put in the hands of the postal service, or with our carriers, or on payment in full of the price of the goods and any delivery charge, whichever is the later. It is the policy of Sparrow & Finch to ensure all goods are supplied to our customers in perfect condition and that every precaution is taken to protect the integrity of the product that is sold.

Payment & Prices

Payment can be made using Master Card, Visa, American Express, Switch, Delta, Maestro, cheque or postal order.

All cheques should be made payable to Sparrow & Finch Limited, with the cheque guarantee card number on the reverse. No goods will be despatched until credit/debit cards or cheque transactions have been authorised any payment received.

All prices are inclusive of VAT in GBP £. VAT No: 946 5484 82

Sparrow & Finch do not store any credit card information, nor will we pass any of your personal information, including credit or debit card information to any third party.

Sparrow & Finch use Worldpay for online credit and debit clearing, in conjunction with Royal Bank of Scotland.

You undertake that all details which you provide to us for the purpose of ordering goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the order.

Return

We hope that you will be delighted with your order, however, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase simply return it to us within 5 working days for a full refund or exchange - items must be unused and returned in their original packaging. We recommend that you use insured, registered delivery service and obtain proof of purchase, as we cannot accept responsibility for goods lost or damaged in transit. Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the originaldelivery charge or the return postage unless the item(s) are faulty, in which case we will reimburse you in full.

Any missing/damaged item(s) must be reported to the company within 48 hours of receipt of your order. The company is unable to accept any responsibility for the loss of a parcel, unless reported to the company within 48 hrs following the confirmed date of dispatch.

Please note that our paint finishes can allow the character of the wood to show - for example woodgrain & knots - these are not considered to be faults.

Where an item is to be returned please email enquiries@sparrowandfinch.co.uk in the first instance, stating your reason for return and if you would like an exchange or refund. If an item is damaged, an image is necessary.

Refunds will be processed with 21 days of receipt of your returned items.

Delivery & Charges

Sparrow & Finch Limited aim to deliver all orders within 7 working days of confirmation that your order has been accepted.

Occasionally deliveries can vary from 1-6 weeks.

Postage and packing charges for standard UK mainland deliveries is calculated according to weight of your basket. The postage charge is worked out automatically at the basket.

Items for delivery to UK mainland are £5.95 / £9.95 / £12.95 / £24.95

Items for delivery to UK mainland that require a pallet are £45.00

Items for delivery to *UK mainland are sometimes subject to a Free of Charge delivery option. This offer can sometimes exclude items that require *Pallet Delivery.

Delivery charges to Northern & Southern Ireland, Channel Islands, Scottish Isles and other surrounding islands are available upon request.

Sparrow & Finch Limited will not accept liability for courier delays.

Deliveries outside of the UK, may be subject to import duties and/or taxes. We regret we are unable to advise of these amounts. You understand that any and all charges of this nature will be borne by you. It may be necessary for Sparrow & Finch to supply a Customs Label containing a brief description and valuation of the parcel’s content.

Sparrow & Finch Limited does not advise recipients of impending gift deliveries.

Out Of Stock

If an item is out of stock at the time of ordering, then we will either wait for the whole order to be in stock so we may ship all together, or if there will be an extended delay then we may ship a partial order, with the balance to follow. We reserve the right to make the decision on whether to split the order or not, but you do have the option of paying two lots of carriage so that the available items may be shipped straight away.

Once an out of stock item, comes back into stock, we will send the item out automatically, so if you change your mind about an item that you have pre-ordered, then it is your responsibility to cancel the order.

Privacy & Security

In order for Sparrow and Finch to process your order we collect personally identifiable information relating to you including name, address, phone number, email address, credit/debit card information.

We will only use your personal information for the purpose for which you provide it to us - including, respond to your enquiries, handle orders, deliver items and process payments, communicate with you about orders, products, services and promotional offers, update our records and maintain any on-line account you may have with us, prevent or detect fraud or abuses of our web site.

We do not pass on personal details of our customers to third parties.

From time to time we employ other companies to perform functions on our behalf including fulfilling orders, delivering packages, sending customer communications, analysing data, processing credit card payments and providing customer service. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but they may not use it for other purposes.

If you have consented in advance to our promotional offers, we will send you information on these. If you no longer wish to be included in these offers, please notify us.

We reserve the right to revise this privacy statement.

We employ security measures to prevent unauthorised access to information that we collect online.

Sparrow & Finch Chelsea Flower Show 2013 - Prize Draw Rules

1. Entry to the competitions is restricted to one entry per person please.

2. Multiple entries will be disqualified.

3.Automated entries, bulk entries or third party entries will be disqualified!

4.By entering the competition you give consent to join our mailing list.

5. Competitions are open to UK residents only unless otherwise stated

6. Prizes can only be sent to a valid UK address unless otherwise stated.

7. Winners will be chosen at random from all valid entries.

8. Winners will be contacted via email names displayed on our website.

9.The Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered in to.

10.The competition will run from Monday 20th May 2013 until Saturday 25th May 2013 .

11.Sparrow & Finch Ltd is compliant with the data protection act. Our policy is such that we will not pass on your details to any third party without your prior consent.

Copy, print (one copy only) or download extracts of the material on this website for the sole purpose of using this website in good faith for domestic purposes or placing an order with Sparrow & Finch Limited; and

Copy print (one copy only) or download the material on this website for the purpose of sending to individual third parties for their personal information provided that you do seek no commercial advantage or benefit from so doing and you acknowledge us as the source of the material and that you inform the third party that these conditions apply to them and that they must comply with them.

Law

The law of England and Wales governs these Terms and Conditions and all disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Whilst we take appropriate steps to protect this site from malicious attacks we cannot warrant that it is entirely free from risk of virus attack.

Your statutory rights are not affected but otherwise all purchases are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and non-transferable.

Definitions in these Terms and Conditions - Goods, means the goods in your shopping bag at the time of ordering. This includes any service that comes with any goods.

Product or Products, means Sparrow & Finch good(s). We, us or our, means Sparrow and Finch Limited. You or your, means one of our customers.
